Tatyana Kovalenko

Tatyana Kovalenko leads the design and delivery of GiniMachine’s risk solutions, combining the platform’s machine learning and AI capabilities with tailored risk methodologies to address distinct business challenges. Working closely with clients, Product and Engineering, she translates business needs into robust solutions and ensures that insights from client deployments, emerging market requirements, and advances in risk analytics continuously shape the platform’s evolution.

With over 15 years of experience in credit and market risk, she has delivered projects spanning retail, SME, and corporate portfolio modeling; financial and real estate bubble monitoring; and the use of transactional and alternative data for risk assessment, fraud detection, and early-warning systems.

Tatyana holds a PhD from ETH Zurich in risk and behavioral finance. She previously worked at a central bank, focusing on capital requirements and the implementation of the Basel Framework. Her background across academia, banking supervision, and fintech gives her a rare 360-degree view on risk management.
